Tom has had a long and fulfilling career, serving in various capacities, including Account Manager, Director of Training, Sales Manager, and Project Manager in the residential and commercial construction industries. He has also worked as Director of Media Production, Pastor on Call, Web Developer, and IT Administrator in Christian ministry. Additionally, he served as a Communications Specialist, managing and operating an award-winning information clearinghouse and online portal for the U.S. Department of Energy at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and National Center for Appropriate Technology.
As a Senior Minerals Specialist with Phoenix Capital Group, Tom brings extensive sales, marketing, and customer service experience, along with a deep desire to serve others. He has trained and mentored staff and co-workers for more than three decades and still finds great joy in witnessing the growth of individuals through coaching and training.
Tom earned a B.S. in Professional and Technical Communications from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology (a.k.a. Montana Tech) in 1982. Since then, he has led and participated in multi-disciplinary teams that educated hundreds of clients on the nuances of the insurance storm claim process, disseminated information, and provided technical assistance to thousands of people for implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
Tom and his wife, Lisa, have been happily married for 33 years and have two amazing children. Now, he enjoys spending time playing with their three beautiful grandchildren.
