Hailing from Oklahoma City, Michael Steele is a seasoned Landman with over 20 years of experience in the Land department. Proficient in Excel and familiar with courthouse procedures, one of his notable achievements includes running title for City of Marlow 1-17.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys MMO games, Magic the Gathering CCG, and European Football. His favorite part of working at Phoenix Capital Group is the family atmosphere in the office, and he aspires to become the basin manager for Oklahoma when the company expands to that market. Drawing a lesson from his father, who rose from a field Landman to President of Kirkpatrick Oil Company, Michael emphasizes the importance of connections in the Oil and Gas industry. He envisions following his father’s career path, ascending as far as possible in the Oil & Gas industry, and hopes to contribute everything to Phoenix Capital Group.
