The son of two servicemembers in the United States Navy, Justin was born and raised overseas. He grew up in Japan and Scotland and attended High School in London, England, where he excelled in Football, Track, and Wrestling. At the age of 16, he won the Junior National Championship for his weight class for the United Kingdom. Justin earned his high school diploma in San Diego before moving to Hawaii, where he attended Honolulu Community College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration. While an undergraduate, he served as a Student Senator and worked as a student-tutor.
Before becoming a Landman, Justin had a successful career in Hospitality Management, working for Marriott. He learned his craft working for multiple Mineral Rights purchasers in the Rocky Mountain region, focusing on Fee Mineral and Royalty rights research. He has coordinated and managed title projects, large and small, in Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, Montana, and Texas. Outside of work, Justin loves the outdoors and has successfully thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail (2650 miles!) and the San Diego Trail. Currently, he resides in Dallas, Texas.
