David Westfall

David brings over 13 years of experience in oil & gas finance to Phoenix Operating. Prior to Phoenix, he helped lead Crestone Peak Resources’ $1.4B merger with Extraction (now Civitas). Before that, David held finance leadership roles at Rockies Resources and Accelerate Resources. David began his career as a private equity associate at Noble Americas and later worked in the investment banking division of BofA Merrill Lynch. David holds a B.A. in Economics from CU, Boulder, and is a member of the Dallas Petroleum Club.
